THE GOOD STUFF!

Oops, another unwanted journalist receives "friendly fire". Seems like a disproportionate number of reporters who were not team players have become victims of friendly fire in Iraq. There always seems to be two opposing accounts of these incidents, us and them. As for myself, I don't accept anything I hear or read in the military-industrial news complex at face value anymore. When it comes to news from Iraq that goes double, it's all filtered by the military now. Deception has always been an art of war.

Take for example the infamous image from Abu Ghraib of the hooded man on the box with wires attached to him, kept awake and told if he fell asleep he would be shocked. It's been repeated in the media that it was just a practical joke and the wires weren't live. When I heard that I thought, "Yeah, right, and the first time he falls asleep and doesn't get shocked the joke is over.".

Am I supposed to believe that practical jokes are used by professional interrogators to extract information? Oh, sure, doesn't everyone know that during the Spanish Inquisition torturers would sneak up behind their unsuspecting victims and yell, "BOO!" in their ears? Cheeses, gimme a break!

I'd say the chances that those wires were actually NOT live are as small as the news lackeys that have been pushing that story.

Another example is the day President Bush, looking like an action figure in his pretty flight suit, landed a fighter jet on the carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and declared major operations in Iraq were over. Somehow I can't imagine the man having the fast reflexes needed to pilot a jet aircraft.

Unless the Texas Air National Guard is secretly harboring an aircraft carrier GW Bush has probably never landed on one. A carrier landing is a delicate operation that requires a pilot to undergo special training for qualification. I highly doubt the US Navy would allow, even an unqualified President to attempt his first carrier landing on a deck teaming with military personnel, assorted guests and jolly journalists.

Like the "end of major operations" this was just another example of the endless illusions and scams perpetrated by the Bush cabal; the most recent being the Social Security Crisis. The operative word in Social Security is "security" which is the last thing the stock market can guarantee. Me thinks, in the end, only Wall Street is going to collect the benefits from this flim flam.

While I'm ranting I should point out that I think this whole war on terror is a scam. The fact that there has never been a real investigation into the Sept 11 attacks makes that glaringly obvious. The only investigation GW Bush would authorize was the Sept 11th Hearings which assumed, without any credible evidence, save a couple of "wag the dog" videos, that Bin Laden was the culprit and only investigated intelligence failures. That's like a detective arresting the man he'd like to for a murder then investigating how the crime might have been prevented. Even the FBI's Most Wanted Poster of Osama Bin Laden doesn't name him as suspect in the Sept 11th attack.

It's only logical to conclude that the only people that would oppose a proper investigation into a crime of that magnitude would be those who were somehow involved. Any detective can tell you the first suspects in the investigation of a crime are those who have benefited from that crime. At the very least, Bush's actions to block a Sept 11th investigation constitutes suspicious activity relating to terrorism.

I'm not fooled, that's the problem. I think I have a right to better propaganda. I mean top of the line. I want first rate, quality, propaganda. The kind that you can scrutinize, instead of swallowing whole, and it still holds water. I want it to be a real challenge, like a good crossword puzzle or a classic chess problem. Enough of the phony baloney I want Filet Mignon!

I work hard and I pay my taxes. I think I deserve the good stuff in fact I DEMAND it! Come on, Big Brother, GIVE IT UP!

Harris then had Dean double-click on a file in that folder titled "Central Tabulator Votes," which caused the PC to open the vote count in a database program like Excel. In the "Sum of the Candidates" row of numbers, she found that in one precinct Dean had received 800 votes and Lex Luthor had gotten 400. "Let's just flip those," Harris said, as Dean cut and pasted the numbers from one cell into the other. "And," she added magnanimously, "let's give 100 votes to Tiger." I agree with Dick Morris' suspicion that there was foul play involved in this election. Not that it mattered as Kerry was picked by the powers that be to play the loser. The one campaign promise Kerry still could have kept, to count all the votes, he failed to keep. Let us not forget that when the Congressional Black Caucus challenged Election 2000 and not one Senator would back them, Kerry was one of those Senators.

What does matter is Bush's claim that he now has political capital. Isn't there an old saying about a fool and his money?

It sure is nice of Osama to help an old family friend through a tough spot by releasing his latest video just days before the election.

The tape has been authenticated by the very same agencies that gave us the "certain" existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq so you know it's for real.

With the Presidential campaign focusing on hundreds of tons of explosives that went missing under Bush's watch the tape is a welcome diversion favoring the incumbent. If Bush loses then the terrorists win is the message, dontcha know. A voter ascared is less likely to vote for change.

Also new in terror videos this week is an upstart calling himself "Azzam the American". With compelling vocals like, "the streets of America will run red with blood" I'm sure he'll be getting lots of air play as he rises to demonization. I give this one two trembling thumbs up.

How disappointing not to have any color coded "terror alerts" at this time. It could have something to do with the fact that they have become a national joke. On the other hand it is nice not hearing them all described as "credible" no matter how incredible they actually are.

Yes, we had to be reminded that Osama is still around but don't expect him to be captured anytime soon as that would end the "war on terror" in the minds of too many Americans. How, then, would Bush or his secret fraternity brother, Kerry, keep their friends rolling in blood money?

Personally, I think Osama's next video should have some music in it and perhaps a few fancy MTV style camera effects. I mean, if he really wants to talk to America he needs to get a new manager.

Described in the mainstream media as an "internet rumor" H.R. 163 was voted on and defeated 402 to 2 on October 5, 2004. Another draft rumor, Senate bill S. 89, has yet to have any action taken on it.

The Grudge Report has investigated and found the source of these rumors. They originated from some web site called "The Library of Congress". Shame shame shame on you Library of Congress for starting internet rumors and making millions of Americans actually worry about the War in Iraq.

Historically when a war starts most of the Americans that are going to volunteer do so when the war first begins. The fact that we are relying on National Guard troops and forcing many to stay after their terms of enlistments have expired indicates that we just don't have the numbers. What's an Imperialist power to do?

The drum is already beating for Iran and North Korea as our leaders and media demonize them daily. And as resistance increases in Iraq it is unrealistic to think an all volunteer army will be enough even with our technological advantages.

Do we really want Americans soldiers, either volunteers or draftees, to be fighting for the corporate lackeys that are currently entrenched in Washington? Have we become what the "Greatest Generation" fought and died to free the world from?Perhaps the best definition of Fascism was given by the first fascist himself.

In the second half of the 20th century, as corporations consolidated mainstream media under their control, America has been guided progressively farther towards the right. Information is power!

During the Reagan administration the "Fairness Doctrine" in broadcasting was overturned thus forever blurring the line between news and opinion in a multitude of outlets.

If we can imagine, for just a moment, that the Bush cabal is the spearhead of a fascist movement within the United States then everything that has happened in America since election 2000 makes perfect sense. It explains all the lies, deceptions, disinfo on weapons of mass destruction, the occupation of Iraq and even the "allowing" of the terrorist attacks on Sept 11, 2001.

AMERICA DECIDES!

Whether you be a whining liberal or a screeching conservative you probably are finding campaign 2004 wanting of issues.

We're seeing lots of the usual pictures of candidates kissing babies and with shirt sleeves rolled up to look like they are working hard for you but the most important issue a nation at war should be voting over is missing and that is the war itself.

With Kerry being nothing more than a backup copy of Bush in case Bush crashes, the Military-Corporate Warlords have maneuvered themselves into a win-win situation. No matter which major candidate you vote for you are voting for war.

Once this election is over the war on terror will take on the reality of what it is, World War III. No, the Cold War was not WWIII the Cold War was the Cold War.

Quietly a bill is prepared for mandatory military service for both males and females.

The media, once the voice of the people now the disguised voice of the Corporate-Military state, will hotly debate S89, if passed. Not so much if there should actually be a draft but whether women should be drafted and thereby avoiding the real issue, the constitutionality of the draft.

Although they helped perpetuate the lies that conned America into the Iraq war the media pundits are now peddling the lie that we just can't pull out of Iraq or bad things will happen. That's the same lie that kept us in Vietnam for seven years.

Pardon me, America, but once you know you've been conned how smart is it to continue letting the con man play you?

"A Boeing 767 out of Boston made an emergency landing Tuesday at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport... United identified the plane as Flight 93"

The story at it's original now dead link. View a screenshot of the page before it was yanked last week or see if it is still cached at Google.

A quickly released AP correction of the story in which the plane is now Delta Flight 1989. The correction then goes on to mention a second flight in distress with no additional information.

Note the time on the screenshot of the story being posted at 11:43 AM. Flight 93 crashed at 10:07 AM at Shanksville, Pennsylvania 35 minutes after it made a hard turn over Cleveland at 9:32 AM according to CNN in the "official" version of the story.

So Flight 93 was over Cleveland at 9:32 AM and 2 hours and 11 minutes later a story is gathered, written and posted at the WCPO website stating that Flight 93 had landed in Cleveland and it's passengers evacuated. It is strange indeed that WCPO's error in reporting fit so closely to the actual Flight 93 timeline and flight path

What a small coincidence that the flight number witnesses thought they saw just happened to be the flight number of a plane that was actually hi-jacked that day. Does anybody smell a black-op here?

As we journey down life's limited access highway some of us will question the existence of a divine creator. I, for one, am convinced there is one.

When I get up in the middle of a dark night and painfully stub my toe on the coffee table I know there is somebody up there laughing. I can just feel it. The fact that nearly every human being who experiences a similar, barefoot in the dark, episode will instinctively cry out the name of his god of choice is proof enough for me of a cosmic connection.

We can pray to an ultimate being but I don't think we could communicate with one. He would be to alien for our minds to comprehend. It would be like an ant trying to understand how the VCR works.

Not alien like E.T. although flying saucer fanatics can elevate their beliefs to religious heights. Personally, I don't know how anyone can go around hoping to meet some smelly alien from Planet X. Why would any intelligent life form want to land on a planet full of dangerous apes?

We can't even get along with each other so how can we expect to harmonize with little green men, or whatever they are?

If we can't understand each other how could we ever hope to truly understand god?

Here on Earth everyone and everything is made of the same star dust, the cooled ashes of fire barfed out by the sun eons ago. (Is that poetic or what?)

I believe there is a spirit that moves through all things. Just as there is a life energy in human beings there is an energy beyond our understanding in the earth, the oceans, the mountains and even in my refrigerator.

With that in mind I can sit back satisfied that on some unfathomed metaphysical level my coffee table may actually be able to feel how much I really hate it.

It's interesting to me how Margie Schoedinger's Dec 2002 lawsuit against GW Bush bears certain similarities to the revelations of abuse coming out of Iraq.

Her paranoid schizophrenic sounding accusations include Bush and his "agents" repeatedly abducting, drugging and raping her and possibly her husband. A miscarriage resulting from a beating by Bush and being prevented from entering the hospital afterwards so she couldn't prove it was his baby.

The story, reported in her local paper The Fort Bend Star, Counterpunch and Pravda, was completely ignored by national media. After all, if frivolous lawsuits against sitting Presidents were newsworthy to big media everybody would know who Paula Jones is.

Ms Schoedinger's lawsuit was settled out of court Sep 22 2003 by a gunshot wound to the head.

If we're using the males in our Iraqi prisons as sex objects then how are we treating the female prisoners? Christian America I'm asking YOU, if Jesus took prisoners would he turn them into sex slaves?

The Stanford Prison Experiment of 1971 showed that if you randomly pick people and put them into a position where they can abuse others some of them will and the abuse progressively worsens. The experiment was originally intended to last two weeks but the university had to stop it on the sixth day. In the Iraqi prisons we can factor in the fact that soldiers, in order to kill without question, must be conditioned to hate the enemy.

In order to facilitate the extraction of information intelligence officers may have used psychological profiling in guard selection. This has been done before in history.

I was surprised that our news from Iraq, being so controlled by the military, was showing images of prisoner abuse on national television. To me it smacked of "damage control" as if there exist images more damning than those aired by CBS which more resemble hazing than torture.

The excerpt above from "The New Yorker" magazine "TORTURE AT ABU GHRAIB" by SEYMOUR M. HERSH. Since becoming pregnant PFC England has been returned to the states.

The BBC reports that scientists have found that childhood abuse triggers schizophrenia. Childhood abuse usually means repeated sexual abuse and I'm wondering what kind of trauma an adult might suffer if he suddenly found himself in a situation of repeated sexual abuse? Holy MK-ULTRA but I've gotta ask, could having a brand new schizophrenic in your grips be of any use in mind control? I know I shouldn't create a conspiracy theory about all this, but what the heck, is military intelligence fighting terrorists or making them? OK, thats enough humor for now, lets get back to the news.

The Hersh article says "private contractors" are also involved with the abuses at Abu Ghraib. Private contractors are nothing more than agencies that provide the low-life services of hired killers or mercenaries. Recalling the four "private contractors" that were recently murdered in Fallujah and their bodies mutilated I can't help but wonder if they weren't also up to the kind of things Dyncorp thugs were up to in Bosnia, like white slavery.

Salon.com reports of girls as young as 12-years-old being "owned" and not a single adult has yet been brought to justice which to me suggests protection.

Human Rights Watch has a report on the US Army investigation into the Dyncorp matter, in fact while writing this article a Dyncorp employee was murdered in Iraq.

THE SEPT 11TH HERRINGS!

Named after an oil tanker, Condoleezza Rice was the witness who's testimony I was most looking forward to seeing on the Sept 11th Herrings. She always makes me hot when she looks angry and I have a feeling I'm not the only one vamped by those fiery eyes. When I heard the news networks advertising the night before to watch her testimony I knew for sure it was just going to be political theater. Corporate owned media is not going to encourage people to watch testimony that could actually be detrimental to corporate owned government.

Our brave, "bring 'em on", President is also slated to testify but not without having Dick Cheney's hand to hold. The puppet don't talk without the puppeteer.

President "uh!" would not authorize a real investigation into Sept 11 but only one that preconcluded Bin Laden was the mastermind and "Why didn't we know in advance?". Hence you will not hear a question such as, "Why was NORAD clearly ordered to stand down that morning?". When golfer Payne Stewart suffered a heart attack while piloting his LearJet, NORAD fighters were up and escorting his plane in under 19 minutes.

What we have heard repeated over and over is that Sept 11th might have been prevented if the FBI and CIA were able to communicate. Too bad they were hampered by bothersome constitutional laws. Thank George we now have the wonderful Dept of Homeland Security and Patriot Act to handcuff the constitution and make the land fascist friendly.

It's a new world since Sept 11th, we are told, and now the state is more important than the individual. That is the essence of the new Hegelian America.

Here in the 21st century, security rules. We have confounding color coded terrorism alerts. Dummies duct taping their windows to keep out possible attacks by terrorists with weapons of mass destruction. Some half-wit boycotting french fries rates coast to coast news coverage. A bare breasted statue "The Spirit of Justice" is ordered covered by the Attorney General of the United States because he thinks she's dirty. WAKE UP AMERICA! Requiring people to remove their shoes for inspection before they can board an airline isn't security, IT'S COMEDY!

They say there is no such a fish as a red herring but if you can get people to believe in it the fish will be real enough to cover the scent of the truth.

The Presidential sack race is on with Bush and Kerry each having one foot in Yale's secretive Skull and Bones Society. More than likely both candidates are sharing financial backing from their fellow Boners and don't those guys swear an oath to stick together? After 16 consecutive years of Yale Presidents do we really need 4 more?

Neither candidate is talking about repealing the Patriot Act, getting out of Iraq, Afghanistan or Columbia and neither would dare use the F-word (fascism) in reference to our unchecked military-industrial-media complex.

I suspect that just prior to the upcoming November election, "PROOF" that Saddam had Weapons of Mass Destruction will suddenly be pulled, like a rabbit, out of the Presidential cowboy hat. Wholla! We might even find one or two but that means now we gotta stay and look for the rest before "you know who" gets them.

We aren't likely to get Osama anytime soon as this would provide closure for many Americans concerning the September 11 attacks and further weaken support for the war. The longer it takes to capture Osama the more money the Busheoisie will make, do the math.

It took telling a whopper to America to get us to invade Iraq so it is not a far stretch to assume that it will take telling a lot more to keep us there. If defrauding the nation with the intention of waging war and reaping its spoils with your radical rich cronies isn't a high crime and misdemeanor I don't know what is. Somebody should look into that.

No President with hopes of a second term would dare put troops on the ground if he honestly believed an enemy had the ability to cause thousands of American casualties in one fell swoop.

Bush is claiming he misunderstood or was deceived by his "evidence", yet he so enthusiastically opted for the most drastic of actions. Should this be the case, then we have been led into a fool's war and in a fool's war only the fools will truly think staying in it is a good idea.

Do I think President Bush is a fool? Not really, but he may be not unlike a light bulb that needs to be replaced.

Machiavelli's time tested work, "The Prince." has long been the boy scout handbook of wannabe despots. I recently found myself wondering what advice Nicolo would have for our own Prince George and his newly acquired Iraqi territories.

In a country where almost everyone seems to own an automatic weapon or grenade launcher I have to ask, "Why didn't the Iraqi people remove Saddam themselves?". Sure, like all the despots our CIA puts into power he was a ruthless dictator and perhaps, from the Iraqi perspective, they felt freer under Saddam's rule than under ours now. The fact that they are willing to die to get rid of us but weren't willing to die to oust Saddam Hussein contains a major message about our foreign policy there.

It certainly appears that someone in the Bush cabinet has already read Machiavelli and is handling Iraq, literally, by the book. The "ruining them" part was started in 1991 by the King himself, George the First, and not by the White House Wunderkind currently warming the throne.

Reading down chapter 5 it looks like bad news for Saddam. Machiavelli says the old prince and his heirs must be exterminated. Putting Saddam in a prison thousands of miles from Iraq is pretty close to extermination but then it does not reduce his chances of returning to absolute zero. Perhaps the world may soon hear of the demise of Saddam Hussein; as putting him on trial may turn up the dirty laundry of his past dealings with our own government.

The Federal Government has raised the terrorism alert color to orange. Whew, what a relief. Dontcha know it's when the alert is low that something could happen. Terrorists love to surprise you.

The feds say the alert was triggered by recent "chatter". What the hell is chatter? Are we talking about chipmunks here? Do they mean to tell me that, in this day and age, terrorists don't know enough to take security measures when they communicate or meet?

Check back in the archives of this web site to the days immediately after 911. While the corporate media was spooking the nation with every conceivable rumor I was urging people to remain calm. I said there wasn't going to be another terrorist attack, that is, as long as the fascists were getting what they wanted. Sure, we had the anthrax and sniper business but that was to keep the heat on.

President Roosevelt must be spinning in his grave now that the nation has been conditioned to fear, fear itself. The real terror is in the alerts, seems like every big holiday. You can sing Silent Night but be ready to hit the dirt. "Don't let it ruin your plans", they tell you with a grin.

Funny how not one single media outlet questioned the "caveman" explanation to the WTC attack. The only "evidence" being a, too good to be true, video tape found in a VCR in Afghanistan with Osama chuckling how most of the hijackers didn't know they were going to die. I didn't even know there was a VCR in Afghanistan.

In other doublespeak news, "Operation Iraqi Free Oil" is a big success with the Bush cabal having their hands firmly on the wells. Everything according to plan. Critics on thought canceling talk shows say it is a failure and a quagmire. This only serves to re-enforce our national denial that we really want to liberate the Iraqis. This is true, in a way, to liberate them from their oil.

Looking not unlike an out of work body double, Saddam Hussein was caught last week hiding in a rat-hole. Little fascists are always expendable to big fascists. If I recall, every time there was a new Osama or Saddam in hiding video tape all the media chatter was, "Is it really him?". They don't want us to get fooled. Saddam's capture should lock Bush into the White House another four years. Can you say, "Hello, draft!", children?

Somehow, this all reminds me of how it was reported at the end of the Civil War that the Confederacy's President Jefferson Davis was captured trying to escape dressed in women's clothing. Even a Connecticut Yankee like myself questions that one but then again, maybe he was just ahead of his time.

If you have been surfing the World Wide Web for a while you may have discovered, to your horror, the existence of BLOGS. Blogs are online journals (web log) where people prattle about how their shopping trip went, their new haircut or why they are mad at Chris. I thought I'd jump on the blandwagon and try a blog too.
