The Trilateral Commission was founded in 1973 by Zbigniew Brzezinski and David Rockefeller with the goal of creating a "New International Economic Order", undoubtedly to benefit the wealthy. We on the lower levels of the social pyramid know where our money goes when the rich get richer.
In the above two videos from last year Mr. Tarpley has predicted that if elected, Obama would shift focus from Iraq and Iran to Pakistan, the Sudan and other areas as part of Brzezinski's ultimate plan to target Russia and China.

According to official Trilateral Commission membership lists, there are only 87 members from the United States (the other 337 members are from other regions).
Thus, in less than two weeks since his inauguration, Obama's appointments encompass more than 12% of the Commission's entire U.S. membership.
There are many other incidental links to the Trilateral Commission, for instance,
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is married to Commission member William Jefferson Clinton.
Geithner's informal group of advisors include E. Gerald Corrigan, Paul Volker, Alan Greenspan and Peter G. Peterson, among others. His first job after college was with Henry Kissinger at Kissinger Associates.
Brent Scowcroft has been an unofficial advisor to Obama and was mentor to Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
Robert Zoelick is currently president of the World Bank

Mr. Wood's article was written before the recent appointment of Anne-Marie Slaughter, Director of Policy Planning, U. S. Department of State. We could also add in former Trilateral member Lawrence H. Summers, Director, U.S National Economic Council.
It appears that doing the above math supports the claims about Obama's Trilateral strings. Obama may throw us peons a few bones but he is just another toady for the global financiers.
Needless to say I did not vote for Obama. My vote went to the Green Party Candidate, Cynthia McKinney and she is all black not just half black like Obama. She was the candidate I thought most likely to walk the walk of change. And she promised a REAL investigation into the Sept 11th attacks.
I loved the way she grilled Donald Rumsfeld and Gen Myers before Congress in this C-Span video clip. Asking them if Sept 11th was some kind of "National Security special event day" and if conducting FOUR War Games on that day might have impaired our ability to respond to the Sept 11th attacks. Gen. Myers baldly lies that the War Games "enhanced our ability to respond." The woman has really got a pair. It's too bad she didn't have a chance against the big money candidates.
